Myers Half Inch Drive Preset 80 ft per lb Automotive Torque Wrench

Designed to take the guesswork out of learning how to set a torque wrench correctly for a particular job, factory preset ratcheting torque wrenches are preset with a specific torque value that cannot be changed by the end user. They have a gear mechanism on the head that allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the wrench. The wrench is rotated on the fastener until an audible click is heard that indicates the fastener has been properly tightened to the preset torque value. Factory-set wrenches ensure the same torque is reached every time. The torque setting cannot be adjusted. Wrenches come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states the product has passed a test for accuracy.
