Decorative wax, also known as wax foil, is available in many different colours, assortments and designs. Cut out the desired shape from the decorative wax plate and simply press it onto the unpainted candle by hand heat. Decorating wax can be easily cut with scissors, a pointed kitchen knife or with cookie cutters. We recommend our cutting and perforating pen for wax. Thanks to its sturdy, fine tip, this tool is ideal for delicate wax work. Tip: The ideal room temperature for decorating creative candles is between 18 °C - 22 °C. If it is too cold, the decorative wax sticks hard to the candle, then gently heat it between your hands. If it is too warm, the wax becomes too soft and sticky, then it helps to put it in the fridge for a few minutes. Candle gloss varnish gives your finished candle the finishing touch, makes it shine and also serves as protection.
